30 Days, 30 Ways
Has the last year and a half thrown you for a loop? You’re not alone! April 2020 brought Caritas a surge of new clients with sudden income loss. It took several months for state unemployment to roll out and federal pandemic benefits to kick in. It has been stressful and frustrating for many families across the nation. BUT, we also saw amazing community action and creativity to care for our neighbors in need!
This September, Caritas will be participating in the #30Days30Ways preparedness challenge to encourage our clients, supporters, and local community to be better prepared for life’s emergencies both big and small.
Follow along on our Caritas Facebook Page or check out 30 Days, 30 Ways for simple, practical ways to prepare. Each day for the month of September, a new challenge will be posted. Participate in areas that make sense for your family and share what you are doing to prepare.

Whether you have emergency services experience or not, we want people to consider each of these tasks and evaluate their own personal readiness.
We will all face crisis moments in our lives.
From encountering a car accident to learning of the loss of a loved one, these tasks will help you acquire some skills and be a little more ready to take on those difficult days.”
