GROUND BEEF COUNTRY CASSEROLE
Ingredients:
1 bag (12 ounces) wide egg noodles
1 pound lean ground beef
1 teas[poon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed tomato soup
1 can (10.75 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup whole milk
2 tablespoons dried minced onion
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese or more if desired
Instructions:
Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.Cook the noodles according to package directions and drain but do not rinse them. In a skillet pan, over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Brown and crumble until the beef is no longer pink.
In a large mixing bowl combine the egg noodles, ground beef mixture, tomato soup, mushroom soup, milk, dried onion, Worcestershire sauce, and Parmesan cheese. Stir together until it is well mixed.
Evenly spread into the prepared baking dish. Cover with foil (or leave it uncovered if you want the crunchier egg noodle pieces on top). Bake for 20 minutes. Remove the casserole from the oven and remove the foil. Spread the cheese on top. Bake for about another 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
