New Building Update!

Caritas is thrilled to share some progress on our new building!
First, we have our new address locked in. Starting June 1st, mail will be forwarded to:

Big thanks to Northside Church of Christ for the use of their building to bless our local community!

Talented Volunteers, like Tim featured below working on our loading deck, have been hard at work revitalizing the space.

21 gallons of primer and paint are on the walls making the space light and fresh.

A small gathering of (fully vaccinated) volunteers were able to enjoy a mini pizza party after several hours of painting lead by Mike P.

In the next few weeks, we will have real floors installed, shelving assembled, and local Eagle Scout, Lina, will be working on a bathroom update for her community project.

*We recently got word that our new refrigerator/freezer unit may be delayed due to a national shortage of urethane foam and shipping delays.

LOTS to accomplish before we move. In the mean time, Caritas volunteers are bustling to serve clients here at the Spokane Friends Church. Donations and client services will continue at our current location until the end of May. Keep an eye out for further updates and moving timeline.
